How to Make Kulfi Dessert at Home

How to Make Kulfi

  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the milk, stirring occasionally, until it reduces by about half and thickens slightly, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Add the sugar, condensed milk, powdered milk, chopped nuts, and cardamom powder to the saucepan. Stir well to combine.
  4. Continue to simmer the mixture, stirring frequently, until it thickens further and reaches a custard-like consistency, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  6. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small cups. Cover with aluminum foil and insert a popsicle stick or wooden skewer into each mold.
  7. Place the molds in the freezer and freeze until the kulfi is firm, at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
