How to Make Tiramisu Cheesecake:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed ladyfinger cookies, melted butter, and sugar for the crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and espresso mixture until fully incorporated. Fold in the sour cream.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is almost set.

  7. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
  8. Before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over the chilled cheesecake and dust with cocoa powder.
  9. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Tiramisu Cheesecake!

About the Main Ingredients:

  • Cream Cheese: Provides the rich and creamy texture that is characteristic of cheesecakes. It also adds a tangy flavor that complements the sweetness of the other ingredients.
  • Ladyfinger Cookies: These light and spongey cookies are essential for the tiramisu flavor profile. They absorb the coffee mixture, adding moisture and flavor to the dessert.
  • Instant Espresso Powder: Adds a bold coffee flavor to the cheesecake, mimicking the taste of traditional tiramisu. Dissolving it in hot water helps distribute the flavor evenly throughout the filling.
  • Cocoa Powder: Used for dusting the top of the cheesecake, cocoa powder adds a final touch of flavor and a visually appealing finish to the dessert.
